• she's insane, a freak, likes the topic of sex a little more than she should, addicted to pimms and lemonade, loves anything zombie-related, watches chuck and the office religiously, can't go a day without playing video games, a little on the obsessive compulsive as she makes lists daily, works in a sex shop, does the odd tattooing at her brother's shop every now and then, takes her polaroid everywhere, always attends heavy metal gigs and is always the first to start the pit despite her size, has an unhealthy obsession with ryan gosling, believes her letter to hogwarts got misplaced in the mail, likes eating philadelphia cream cheese with her finger, still has an incredibly thick welsh accent, likes to pretend she's a disney princess, donates to the wwf every week, has never missed one episode of as told by ginger or the wild thornberry's, has read of mice and men twenty times, complete and utter nerd and still goes around with one of those light up pacifiers sticking out of her mouth that were all the rage back in 2000.
• meet rhiannon ava merdone, nineteen and originally from the rainy town of swansea in wales but moved to jersey at the age of twelve after her father scored a huge promotion for some major advertising company.
• a year and a heart attack later, the new widow was left to work endlessly for her three children: drystan, tillian and rhia who had all lost someone very dear to them. however it was her older brother who got hit the hardest.
• being the youngest in the family, rhia grew very attached to her older brother and it was her alone that helped ween him off the booze and the drugs when their father had died, leaving the two very close. however, the same cannot be said about the two sister's who bicker to no end and though they live together, can often go days without speaking to one another. it is often drystan who has to constantly stop them fighting.
• even at a young age, rhia exceeded at school, always coming home with a set of straight a's. she was a bright student, intelligent and never once touched a drug in her life. at fifteen, she started becoming interested in fashion where she worked at a cheap vintage shop until it closed down when she turned eighteen. like a lot of kids her age, rhia had and still has no idea what she wants to do with her life and so, to pass the time and obviously earn her rent, works at a sex shop. after attending art classes for six months, rhia found she also possessed the same creative merdone flair as both her siblings and so also does the odd tattooing at her brother's self-owned tattoo shop urban ink where she was trained by her older brother when she's needed even though the passion to study fashion in la remains a constant. pictures of her work can be seen here: one, two and three.
